SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Sports events and competitions such as rugby (entrance fee 15 €), basketball (entrance fee 30 €) and soccer (entrance fee 30 €).

EXCURSIONS IN BURGOS

ROUTE “LAS MERINDADES”:

Visit to the medieval town of Frías, included in “The most beautiful villages of Spain”. Short stop for lunch in Medina de Pomar. In the afternoon we will go to Ojo Guareña, the second largest karst complex in caves in the Iberian Peninsula. Price of the day trip 55€ (guide included).

ROUTE “STAGES OF THE WAY”.

We will do two of the stages of the Camino de Santiago, declared as World Heritage. We will leave Burgos, having as destination the small Castilian village of Hornillos del Camino, sleeping in its municipal hostel. The next day our goal will be to reach Castrojeriz, a beautiful village in the middle of the Camino. Price of the excursion 105€ (accompanying guide included + return transport from Castrojeriz).

    Homestay accommodation is a perfect option for those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the Spanish culture. You will speak Spanish on a daily basis, get to know the local people and enjoy Spanish gastronomy and traditions.
  • 2. HOTEL/HOSTEL/STUDENT RESIDENCE. 1 WEEK 200-300 €.
    Practice your Spanish with the locals and meet students from all over the world while enjoying the Spanish culture and Burgos and its surroundings.
